I took a spin thru Letchworth last night. They picnic area that SilverSpy applied for is a nice area. The parking lot is huge. There is plenty of seating in the pavilion. The pavilion also has grills right inside the building, so if it rains (please don't!), we can still have a nice BBQ! Meeting at the Mt. Morris entrance will work out good. We may want to all meet inside the park entrance at the Highbanks area, whcih has a huge parking lot 2 miles into the park. It might be a pain if we meet outside the park and then go in as a group, as we will all have to stop at the entrance gate to pay our $6 fee and we would still have to stop and wait for evryone to go thru. Once into the park we do not have to stop until we get to the picnic area. It is a long drive thru the park, at least following the speedlimit. Once in the park it might take 25+ minutes to get to the picnic area. And that is not going thru the entire park from one end to the other. I took some pics of the picnic area which I will post later.

Thanks Mike. I like the idea of meeting at the dam (that's what you're talking about, right Mike?). That's a good idea. Shall we say 11AM still? That would be great because that is a good sized parking area. We can all line up and maybe have a flag person go out to the road to hold other people from coming through so we can go out as a continuous line. It would be the spouse or friend or whatever of the person in the last car in line, so they can hop in and go. Maybe we can get a "Mustang Crossing" sign for that person to hold. :p

I sure would love to get a video of all the Mustangs cruising by. I gotta figure that one out!!! :confused:

You guys or anyone else is welcome to join us.

We will be meeting at the Erie County Park Shelter on Bowen Road. This is the big shelter that is about a 1/4 mile south (on the left) after you turn off of Broadway, Route 20. We're planning to meet around 8:00 a.m. and then cruise to Batavia to meet up with any Stangs coming in from the Rochester or Syracuse areas.

We'll have to decide on a place/time to meet up in Batavia. The first place that comes to mind is the Home Depot parking lot/mall across the street. That would be one hell of an awesome ride down if we could pull that off. :headbang:

We can pull it off, right now we have about 10 Stangs from the Buffalo area and we're planning on driving down together anyways. It's just a matter of getting the word out to the Rochester and Syracuse area Stangers. :awesomework:
