Wile taking the lower intake off I ran into these super stupid fuel lines. Looked in the end, saw it was just a spring that held it all together, and got an idea. A piece of vinyl siding and a small flat head screw driver did the trick. Took about 30 seconds to get both fittings apart. Cut a small square of vinyl and wrapped it around the small section of the fuel line to get the shape. made sure that on the bigger part it didn't go all the way around and touch it self. I needed a small gap for the screwdriver. Slid the vinyl into the fitting to push the spring out and using the screwdriver like a mini pry bar I got it to slide out just enough to keep the spring to the outside of the fitting and was able to pull it all the way out. I am sure there is a tool for this but I don't have it...well I guess I do now.
