mac prochamber fitment on 2004's

I recently installed a mac prochamber mid pipe from headers down to the catback. Came a little short but with some pulling got it to come together. I now have two exhaust leaks where the midpipe meets the catback. Is this a common issue on the 2004's?

It's leaking a little bit from headers too, i only put a gasket on the passenger side.

i forgot to add that where the midpipe meets the catback, it does so at an angle...hence the exhaust leak?

hummm weird....Someone else should be able to help mpre than me but Id say take it all apart and try again...Maybe the piping can turn some more or something making it a bit better:idk:

i think it aligned itself from driving it but not sure...to check later on. I noticed my passenger side rubber gasket fell out from the hanger in the back so id have to put that back too. lol

do i need a tune or anything of that nature after this?

I don't have the rear sensors plugged in...I am getting the extensions from MaximumRisk next week, will I have any problems getting rid of all the check engine lights?

You mentioned you have headers on your car? Or are they stock manifolds? I'm guessing you have the stock manifolds. Your best bet is to keep everything loose and get the exhaust positioned as you want and slowly tighten hardware from front to rear. Also be sure to check that the joints are round. Most times guys will overtighten these and it will oblong the joints, causing the leak. As far as your codes, unless your rear 02 sensors were turned off using a tune, them being unplugged is your headache. What cat back do you have? Usually Mac's stuff is pretty good, and I've never had an issue. It's possible that the problem your having lies in your cat back system.

yeah they are stock headers. I will tighten from front to rear.

What joints do I need to make sure are round?

The car is not tuned, i will get the extensions this week and plug them back in which shuld get rid of at least 2 codes maybe? I have a flowmaster catback..not sure what one though

My question is...can I wire them into the o2 extensions then just plug them in?
