LED Mirror HELP PLEASE

I would tap into the turn signal wire. Not sure if it would need a relay or voltage regulator. I will check for you.
EDIT.. I just looked for a quick solution, no find. I will check my car to see the color and where you can tap into them. If I am correct, you will have to splice into the wires for the left and right individually. Should take a few minutes since the wires are most likely gonna be right under the door sill.

OK, I just went out to my car and tore into it real quick for you.
This is what I found in my testing.
The drivers side turn signal wire can be found under the door sill plate, it is the blue wire with the red stripe as seen in the following pics.
The passenger side turn signal wire is in the PASSENGER SIDE DOOR SILL. Now there are two wires that look the same, the one you need is the RED with WHITE stripe. Look at the following pics.
It is the 3rd wire down, the first looks all white, but it is red with a thick white stripe, you want the one that is 2 down from that.
That's it, just run a wire into the door panel and through the rubber tubing that is there, ground one side to the bolt under the dash and the other tap into the above description.
There is a bolt on the passenger side, behind the SMJ that can be used for a ground for that side.

That answer was probably the best solution and detailed pics I have ever got!!! I guess I owe you your own personal bag of potato chips for the 18th cruise, lol!! What type do you like??

Okay so first of all let me be the first to tell you those mirrors where a b*tch to do!! I have to say the supercharger was probably easier then those things. Getting the mirror on was the easy part but getting the wire from the door panel to the inside of the car with those stupid molex connectors was unbelievable... needless to say the hard work paid off and they look sweet... Here are some pics and a Video!!

okay so we have a little problem which may not be rectified by the cruise time tomorrow...
When I press on my brakes, the mirror LEDs come on... when I take my brakes off they go off... However if I have the brakes pressed and put a directional on the one will stay solid and the other will start to blink... LOL?
Any ideas???

LOL!! Tell me about it.. You should have seen my face when I stepped on the brakes and saw my turn signals go on... lol look something like this.. :eek2::eek2:
Well the directional wire controls the brake light too... because when we press on our brakes for S197s the turn light comes on with the brake light.... so.. I guess it's kind of right that the LED mirrors come on.... But that's definitely not how I want it wired... lol
