Specs tend to chatter, the stge 3 is a really on or off clutch there is no featehring it. your gonna have to get use to it. good luck!

I agree. There is no feathering it but my Spec 3+ dosent chatter much! I love it!!

I def got lucky, Mine is really great i have 100 miles so far and its lighter than stock feeling and has very little if any chatter at all. I got lucky or Steve @ Mustang Magic is just that good!!

They are def that good, but you did get lucky because they did my clutch too, that's why I believe it's a hit or miss

the key is to hit the rpms just right...its either on/or off at times

Didn't get time to do my clutch yet, but i did have some downtime in between jobs, so I put on the MGW, steeda quick release quadrant, and Fore firewall adjuster. The firewall adjust was such a pain in the dick to put on, those little screw are chinsy as hell. Came with some shitty Reichard racing installation kit. I got it all set though, however I'm unhappy with all the free-play at the top of the pedal when its adjusted properly. I took the quadrant back off and fabbed up a peice of aluminum which I am going to weld to it tonight. This will allow me to use the factory spring that normally gets discarded when you yank that dumpy plastic quadrant.

Even though I could just put on an LDC freeplay mod and do essentially the same thing, I had some spare aluminum, and I enjoy me some fabrication here and there. I will post pics and shit and probably start a new thread if i think of it and have time tonight.

Sounds good man, good luck! I also have the freeplay at the top of the pedal and I JUST got the LDC freeplay, going to install it soon

it's all speculation at this point, but i don't understand why NOONE selling an aftermarket quadrant welds a little tab on for the factory pedal spring. If my calculations (read: eyeball) are correct this should work just like the factory one and not hit anything under the dash.... the only thing I'm worried about is if my calculations for where to put the little tab are correct because this is supposed to pull on the cable differently than the stocker. Hopefully I'll have more info tonight.

How do you like that LDC freeplay mod? Is that spring pretty stiff??? If this doesn't work out I'm just going to grab one of those.
