Inspection Q?

I know there was another thread that talked about inspections.....but I just have a jlt/xcal2 93 tune from breenspeed....will I pass inspection? Last year they did not do an emissions test but this year they will. Anyone have any clue if I should take the cai/tune out and run stock for awhile...or go in as is and see what happens?

YOu should pass, as long as you have cats. I still have cats but Brenspeed turned off my 02 sensors in their tune, so i failed because of "02 Sensor not ready", once that was turned on it was all good.

Call em up to confirm if the 02 sensors are enables or not, let them know you need to get inspection.

Matt you should be fine..........as long as the CEL light is off...

My 02's were turned off in the tune, but i did not get any warning lights so i had no idea when i went to get inspection. Save yourself $40 bux by calling Brenspeed 1st.

As long as when you had them wright the tune, you did NOT tell them that you had an o/r pipe, then they would not have turned the o2 sensors off.

Even if your downstream O2s are tuned out you should still be showing a ready signal. Something was up with your tune then.

I have no cats, and a tune from Blow By Racing and I pass the OBDII diagnostic test with flying colors. All the tune should be doing is tricking the car into thinking the after cat emissions have been catalyzed.
