You'll get it. Just listen to the engine and she'll tell you when it's time to shift. I think it's different for women to learn stick than men. We're a lot more dainty (so to speak) about pushing in the clutch and pulling her out of 1 gear to the other. so syncing up the gears and flywheel (i think fly wheel, I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong) gets a little "delayed." Until you learn it and learn your car (EVERY manual trans is different - imo) then it all falls into place.
