This past Saturday Nick / American Racing Headers in Amityville hosted our meet point for a northeast lightning cruise to the nautical mile. Man what a stand up guy and great host. He was supposed to be there for an hour but do to us lightning guys not being able to get our act together he was there for almost 4 hours with us.
He had their full 3 inch Lightning exhaust set up on a table to show us this beautiful masterpiece they designed. you get instant wood once you touch it. The quality is unreal and the bends are perfect. You can just tell this will be the last system you will need once you get it in your hands. Nick was a great host and just for Josh (blwn5pnt4) he had 3 dozen donuts for him and a cooler full of water and gatorade.
He took us through the shop, showed us their jigs , benders, etc.. and explained to us their process on how they design their exhaust and how they go to extra lengths to eliminate unnecessary welding turns in the pipe(hope i explained the right).
Nick all of us truly appreciated your hospitality. I also worked out a great deal with him and looks like i will be picking up their exhaust next week!
If you are local and looking for an long tube / exhaust setup I highly suggest you swing by the shop. Once you put your hands on their headers you won't look any further.
