Hot engine starting woes

Just got my 1987 LX 5.0 back on the road after sitting dormant in my garage for 3 years. After running the car for about 30 minutes and then shutting it down and restarting it immediatley, the car turns over slowly like the battery is almost dead. It starts quickly when it is cold, but starting hot is another story. I checked the battery voltage both hot and cold and it is about 12.5 volts. While running the battery is at 14 volts. Anyone have any thoughts regarding this?

sounds like a heat soak condition . most likely the starter , solenoid , or grounds . but id bet on the starter

YEP!! I would put my money on the starter about to take a crap also.
