Hey Stangerang....in my next life I want a white-collar job!!!....looking back I shouldn't have ditched my college exams for the motorcycle boyfriend....where is he now???...haha

Yea......but I hear you union folks do alright for your selves.

My friend's father was an electrician in a union in the city..I believe Local 3..all throughout my friend's birth till present, him and his entire family have lived in a nice area in Long Island near me while he commuted too work...I think he is either 64 or 65 now, but he's been comfortably retired for the past couple of years....and the benefts keep on coming!

You know...if you're not going to goto college...a union tradesperson is the way to go...BUT....we rarely work full years...which can be good and bad.... and we DO wear out our bodies...I already had carpel tunnel surgery.....almost every electrician ..as well as carpenters..laborers...etc..have bad backs..or knees..or ..like my father...who is in great health otherwise...breathing issues...we make good money, don't get me wrong...and I personally love working with my hands...but you do sacrifice your body

But enough of the negativity....lol

thinking about checking out Bear Mountain on Sunday......I'm going to my parents' boat this weekend...there at Havestraw Marina...close to Bear Mountain....my Dad's always up for a cruise, too...lol...he'd have to take my Mom's Pontiac Solstice, though..lol.....(that is an AWESOME chick car, btw)

Thanks...I'm working street lighting, now.....just got my cdl license, too....so I'm also a truck driver!!...oh DAMN!!!....I sound like a raving BUTCH!!..haha...(not that there's anything wrong with that)

I think I'm one hell of a catch!!!...haha....but I find most guys..or at least the ones I meet...(and sometimes fall for....lol..) prefer DEPENDENT women.....my EX-fiance wanted me to get rid of my 03GT...had just bought it...and I decided that I should trade it in....make a COMPROMISE....I decided on a Grand Am...and asked him PERMISSION for a sunroof....haha...that was 5 years ago

To make a long story short...my Dad said to keep the Mustang and get rid of the guy..haha..which I did....

and NO regrets..lol
