Hey all what's up! Name is Joe and I'm from Nassau. A little background on me I've owned three cars. All were Fords and the last two were mustangs. My last Mustang was a '98 3.8L with an Auto trans. I wound up losing that.
After about a year of searching and saving I finally found my new car. What probably took it so long was I was being very picky about what I wanted. Found Roxie on craigslist just outside NY in CT. A month ago I went to go check it out and it was in near perfect condition besides some scratches and chips to the front bumper; manageable. Within a week she was registered to me.
She is a 2002 GT 5 speed. Silver on the outside and Black leather interior. I picked her up with a BBK CAI and BBK three point strut bar. And an Alpine HU. Apparently there are some Flowmasters (which I hope to change) on there as well as well as some type of aftermarket shifter. The second day I had it I installed a sequential kit from meter4it.com, which I had on my old mustang.
Her name is Roxie. I chose Roxie since I plan on getting a motorcycle (I do have the license, but not the money lol) and naming her Moxie. Roxie and Moxie, my babies!
I'm not the most savvy car person so I will probably be doing a lot more learning and question asking then answering.
Doing some searching I found a few articles in the write up section and saw it was a NY Mustang site, well I just had to join. Hope to see some of you guys and gals out there!
