!!!!help..Check engin light on!!!!!!

oko i took the stock mid pipe out of my 03 mach one and put a pypes off road x pipe. my service engin light did not come one for about a week but today during my drive to school it came on is this just bc i have no cats or should i look into this? thanks for any help

Do you know how much driving you did before the light came on....It would take a bit....Chances are that it IS because the orr road x pipe!

I think they make a censer that tells the system it is correct even thought it may not be...Mabey its a Mil eliminator or something like that...
Im sure someone will know for sure!

I bet it's because of your o/r pipe. You need a set of MIL Eliminators. We have a really good write up on how to make them. You should give it a try, they actually work. http://newyorkmustangs.com/forums/how-to-make-mil-eliminators-your-mustang-t4015.html

I am with TBapp and mike on this one. I would bet it is your rear o2's. You could go to autozone and have the codes read. This will tell you for sure.

Why would you take your cats off and do nothing else and think the engine light would not come on. The PCM is looking for cats that are no longer there, you should also have it re-tuned as well with the Mils in.

get a tuner, go to the dyno and have them turned off. problem solved:thumbup:

i have the same system on my 03 ,i bought the predator handheld tunner an the stock tuned corrected it.i passed inpection .
