Hi. My name is Jennifer and I just joined this forum today. I have an 85 mustang convertible that has been through a lot!!! I also have an 88 convertible that i never have time to even begin working on so it just sits in the driveway right now. I bought my 85 for my first car before i even had a drivers license and it was a wreck but i just saw the potential for what i wanted it to look like! I spent a lot of time working on it to get it how i wanted. i changed the front end and doors, and the interior was gutted and redone as well. Plus I put a new 302 block with tons of goodies under the hood. Tons of sanding and priming were needed as well, of course! It looked really nice when it was done, but sadly i was in a hit and run accident few years ago and i had to star t all over again. It's almost done, but i still have to put my new hood and trunk lid on and get it resprayed. At least its one color again!!!

thanks. I was really mad about the hit and run for quite a while, but i'm over it now. I'm just glad it was fixable. I had a lot of people telling me the frame was too badly damaged, but it wasn't. I do have to say that it isn't as much fun to do the same work on the same car all over again! So much work........ and it still isn't finished..............
