My name is Phil and I just picked up my first Mustang. That almost sounds like an intorduction at an AA meeting. Any way, got a nice little 91 GT with 60,000 miles on it or so the origional owner says it has. Very clean and very stock, for now. Full exhaust is being ordered next week and motor should be apart some time this fall. Really looking forward to meeting some of you in person some day. I all ready know one member here but hope to make some new cruising friends.

Yeah, that thread was a bit long. I am a Chevy guy all the way but I have always wanted one of these Fox body things. They can all make HP but some of them look better doing it.

That's fine by me, I like some chevys too. I find that more people accept the fox bodies more often than the newer stuff, I can't blame them.

It is kind of strange how most people don't even think of the Fox body as being a ford. It's a "Mustang GT" or a "5.0 Mustang" Never heard them called a "Ford Mustang".

Yeah, I'm not sure why, possibly they get more recognition for what they were and still are, best bang for the buck in a light weight car.

My goal is to make it out run my truck. shouldn't be too hard as the truck weighs 6700 pounds with me in it.

Haha, I would hope not! Unless its one of those nasty 10 sec diesels, then it will take some work to beat it, lol.

A vette would have been my first choice but they cost way more money, LOL. Lance has 2 of thoes things now. I found this one off exit 18. A nice guy that wanted my GTA worse than I did.

I dont know exactly what happened but I know that the car had 100*** something and then the engine supposedly went and was replaced....Not too sure though:idk:
