Yup i got a 2002 mustang gt 5spd. its got 95k miles. bone stock. i got it for 5800 no one thought i would get one so cheap. I got a really good deal. Its in mint condition. Mineral gray exterior, tan leather interior. it was driven by a 50 yr old lady so it was never beat on. Ill post pics tomorrow. Not bad for a first car at 17. Its the fastest car in school and the only one with a stick;)
what should my first mods be. i need new tires. any one got a good all year tire. im thinking of flowmasters 44 only cause there the cheapest and best sounding for the price. i wanted to do a pypes beast kit but i cant afford it:(. im also going to do a cai, chip nd tune (do i need to put a chip in to tune it or can i just tune it off the factory computer??). Thanks for the help guys and cant wait to meet you all.

yupp ill post pics tommorw. i already ordered a chin spoiler, and im getting my taillights tinted and my windows. i wanna lower it too

Congrats man!!!! As for mods, if it your DD (daily driver) go get some snow tires and make it through the winter all while saving up for mods.

The first mod should be a CAI and a tune, that can be had for anywhere from $500-$800 depending on set up.

Exhaust is more of a sound mod, unless you go with a full set up. Long tubes all the way back. Cost.....between $800-$1800, again, depends on set up.

Exterior mods are great for visuals, keep in mind about painting the parts also.

The list goes on and on. I suggest that you start with deciding what direction you want to go in. Is it going to be a race car, show car, a little of both, a fast cool looking ride, etc etc... After you decide that, then you can do research and ask the proper questions that pertains to your set up. If you start throwing mods at the car, chances are, you are gonna do things twice or even more since they will not work with some other mods.

I think you get the point.

RESEARCH and ask questions before modding if you are unsure, do not be one of those "I read in the magazine that this engine oil will give me 50hp so I bought a case" then come on here bitching that the car is the same.

Congradulations man!

Take it from me man, your mind changes so fast dude. Sit down, think of what you want to do with your car, check youtube videos, listen to exhausts. Find one you like, go do that. Save up. Ive spent soo much money on exhaust alone. Think before you do. Trust me. im 17 with a s197 and ive changed soo much stuff and spend about 10 grand on my car or more. And being our age takes alot of responsibility with our cars. We are judged on how we behave with the car and take care of it. Dont be like every cocky kid our age who gets a sports car. Be safe, and be responsibile. Once again. Congradulations
