gt500 rims on a 04 mach

I dont think they will fit, here is why, when the offset is numerically lower, that means the wheels will stick out farther, a 45mm offset is tucked in further than a 25mm offset. I have 03/04 style Cobra wheels on my S197, they have a 26mm offset and they stick out farther than other wheels made for an S197.

The GT500 wheel is 9.5" wide and the offset is numerically higher, which means it will be tucked in further and because if that fact and the width you may have some clearance issues on the inner side of the wheel well.

You never know for sure until you give it a shot, its worth a shot if you like em that much.

all the new style rims ie 05 and up have already been copied by many aftermarket companies to accommodate all the bodystyles..... I would just buy the right ones to fit the car!
