New to the group. I have a 1968 Mustang Coupe. 6 cylinder 3 speed. I am curerntly in the process of gathering the remaining period hop up pieces to trick out the six. I know it would be easier to drop in a 302 or late model EFI 5.0, but that just wouldn't be as much fun!

Welcome to the site.. There is a ton of useful info here.

I have a 5.0 (stock) w/ 90K on it for sale for cheap. See the video of it running in the parts for sale section. Its complete and it may be a much cheaper way than tricking out the 6...

Welcome to NYM Mustang GT 200. 68's are nice, many years ago I had a 68 GT Coupe. Nice body style. I am currently working on a 65 Fastback that used to be a six & a 69 Coupe that is a 302. Where in western NY are you?.
