To make a long story short, the car was abandoned, I put in new battery and terminals and drove it home, next day took it to get the top replaced, got it back and used some rubbing compound to get a nice shine, this is my first pony, I had a 74 Ranchero for 13 years before my Wife made me get rid of it.

Welcome. I had a '77 Ranchero with a Thunderbird front clip. Loved that car. Sold it to take my girlfriend (wife now) to Disney World :(
