well im getting cams. i want sound cams but i want it to still give me some performance

so my choices are...

Thumpr cams...
Mutha thumpr cams...
BBR stage 2 cams...

thats all i found so far.

i hate the FRPP hotrod cams..

If you wanna play N/A get ready to spend Boku dollars, thats why most people just get blown, because at the end of the day, it will cost the same. However, i think N/A is more reliable and doesnt have heat soak issues when racing.

If you want power your gonna have to shell out the dough for labor and do SPR/VSR cams, my Buddy did Comp Stage 2 SPR and had great results, it doesnt sound as mean as the NSR's but it makes twice the power. He made 340 RWHP on a Mustang Dyno with Long tubes!! tahts about 390 RWHP in Dyno Jet language.

BTW - i dint get a baseline but my Tuner estimated i got about 12ish RWHP with the HotRods, thats not bad for a 6 hour isntall, the SPR cams take 12 - 13 hours for install but make twice the power. With any cam on an S197, your gonna want a proper Dyno Tune to really feel the results.

thumpr cams work with F/I too. if i get a chance to take mine out ill let them go for $250, with the phaser limiters. new the thumprs aer $644 and the limiters are $180, you'll need to buy new phaser bolts tho, they are one time use.

I believe those are the SPR BBR stage 2's

You should hit up ther website and or youtube BBR cams till you find some leads.

This guys is from another forum, KB blown serious machine, BBR's not sure which stage but i think they are 2's SPR

Yup, i met him and his Stang at the Bull state park meet but hes rarely on this forum. Had a chance to stretch out on the highway with him on the way home, that car is FAST!!
