fuses

Hey sadly this is not something that's as easy as walking up to the parts counter and ordering,usually .
First off are any of yours salvageable for measurements? If so take them to your local autoparts and match them up.When I shop for fuses,I just go to the rack or bin and I don't ask for help,I just sit there and compare.Honestly I get my fuses for my early cars at Walmart,autozone,etc. I also make sure to buy several of them at a clip to have around for spares.
Another option would be If you happen to have a napa or a carquest near by,Id take a ride by one and have them check for you,those types of stores usually have a more diverse selection and workers who are more intersted in looking stuff up for people with old cars.

So you got it resolved sort of? I just realized I haven't bought a Mustang yet this week(it's sunday) so let me know if you are selling it.LOL. I hope you are kidding about selling it.
All I can say is you definately have to be patient with these old cars.You also have to look at the big picture,these days people trade in cars for new ones when they get dirty.That being said you have to be fair to your classic Mustang,It's 42 years old,when you walk into most auto parts stores these days looking for classic Mustang stuff you are the minority. Hardly anybody is going to stock parts for it,so you have to try to preplan,research what parts you'll need, and plan on having to order stuff in advance.
These 40 plus year old cars are going to constantly throw you curve balls. Stick with it.

Fuses for older cars (like our classic Mustangs) can be difficult to find. Even more confusing is that there are a number of different types that are not interchangeable. The glass barrel fuses have different designations, such as AGA, AGC, SFE, etc. Each of these come in specific ratings and sizes. You may not be looking at the correct type to get the rating and size you need for your '68. My '69 uses SFE type fuses for some circuits and AGC for others.
