Fox revival

I decided to start my "progress" thread, I haven't done anything major yet but I'm starting to make it look a little bit better. I finally got some new fog lights to replace the old, broken ones.

Here's how they look now.



I also got some new hatch carpet. It wasn't bad to put in, the carpet on the back of the back seats was a bit of a pain to do. The first seat I did I broke two of those damn plastic push pins. The second I didn't break any on it though. LOL. Before and after pics, unfortunately I forgot to take a pic of the old carpet inside the car!! :nono: I can assure you that it was needed to be replaced though.





It looks pretty good, the fit could've been a little bit better. I can't complain though, it looks loads better than the last. I got black because eventually I wanna switch all the carpet to black and possibly the whole interior. I also have door pins that I need to put in my driver's side door, OH JOY!!!

I put in a few other odds and ends in too.

Resvon will appreciate this one....


I hope to put these on soon too, once its back on the road that is. LOL.


That's about it for now..... It'll probably be a little while before I do anything else to it. :)

Looking good Josh!(I think that's your name, if not then I'm a dumb ass lol) Are you going to do anything to the motor?

Yep, I'm Josh. I'm gonna do some stuff to the motor when the funds come in, lol. I'm gonna have to do a rebuild soon though. Since I can't afford a good h/c/i yet, I think I'll just put on the GT40 swap when it gets rebuilt. I know it's not much of a gain but I can get them for cheap from a junkyard.

Do you have the classic Fox sagging map pockets? I did but I redid them and they came out awesome. It was pretty easy and costed me less than 2 bucks.

A little update of the last month or so. I got those SLP LM1s put on finally!!! I think the car sounds great and nasty! Lol. I would post a video of it, but I don't have a video camera. I replaced the heater core, that was a job and a half, lol, but I messed something up, so the windshield defroster works on every setting and the vents don't work. :smash: At least the car gets warm when it needs to, haha. I replaced the passenger side window motor and the drivers side door lock switch, those two things were necessities! Then I bought a pair of door to body weatherstripping to replace the old, rotted out ones. I have two pics but they don't do it justice. The doors seal soooo much better now.


Then, I put new plugs, wires, cap, and rotor in to. The 9mm wires are probably a bit overkill but oh well. LOL. This is it for now...... once this semester is over and I start working a lot again, my plans are to possibly get some new black carpet, black arm rests, and new door panels, I think I will keep the door panels the two tone though.
