Forced Injection Dilemma

Any one of those systems will add one hell of a punch to your 4.0- but they all have advantages/disadvantages. As far as I know, Andy at TMA Turbo is the only person who makesa complete turbo kit for the V6 cars. The turbo is a great choice, but the price is whaat drives most people away. the procharger and vortech are great centris, and will give nice power and torque. both are self-contained units, and quite comperable. the Xcharger, being a positive displacement blower, will give you amazing torque, but you might give up a little power for it. for a DD, something like this will be most fun, as the torque is rightt here in the low-RPMs where you can use it

The reason I am modding a six is because I don't have insurance money for a GT XD and I'm really leaning toward the x charger because I can install it myself and I get great torque I probably should have mentioned that I'm getting a t-lok and 3.73 gears lowering springs dual exhaust headers and a tuner first =) so any more suggestions to sway me?

hmm man I have so much to think about lol I wish this was easier =( haha but half of the fun is in the search Its interesting that the vortech gets similar #s without the intercooler though i wonder how it would be without? and I really would love to drag and race my car so is the x charger a bad option?
a vortech sans IC isnt bad, just runs a little hotter, and you cant run as much boost.
the Xcharger isnt a bad option- when i say a little less horsepower, im talking 10-20, not 50+. if you like to dragrace, or autocross, the X=charger is a great option.
also, for the T-lok- look for a good 8.8 with factory 3.55's, or get one and do gears. the FRPP 7.5" T-lok was designed to be used in Bronco II's, with a grand 100hp at the crank. They dont hold up well to much more then a bolt-on 3.8, much less a blown six. if you want to keep the 7.5, get an auburn or detroit trutrack
