Finally lowered the stang

I bought my springs I think last august or something. I was a little bored today, and being that the car isn't going anywhere (insiders know why), I figured i might as well get some work done.

Wasn't that bad at all, took a total of about 3 hrs. I could have got it done faster, but I was using some old spring compressors that were not cooperating. Also, since my car is a vert, I had to remove 10 bolts that hold on a support that goes from in front of the rear wheel all the way to the center of the rear.

Here are a few pics, not ment to be a install write up, but I will answer any questions.

Please don't rag on my stock wheels, the foose 20's are gonna get redone.

Good job, car looked good before, now it looks even better. Looks sportier. I had never seen that style of wheels before on any 05+ mustangs. Are they really stock?

I will take some tomorrow Jared. I was tight on space in the Backyard. I have a 40' Holiday rambler taking up all the space.

And the wheels are stock, I like em, but I think the chrome foose will really make it look schweet with the drop.

No problem Dave, if I am done with my house arrest I will be more than happy to help.

You can put springs in out car without spring compressors... You let them pop in the Tower and then pull them out, then when you put them in you just let the weight of your vechile push em down... Looks goood though that would cut down on your time by 30 or so minutes...

I thought about that, but was a little concerned about scratching the paint, then I would have a vulnerable spot for rust. I only needed the compressor to remove them, the new ones I was able to just put the cap on, push a little and get on the nut.

I don't know how it rides yet, haven't taken her out.

Im tellin ya man, imho the Foose wheels are too delicate looking for a Mustang, on top of that they are 20's and not wide enough.

Although the Fan Blades are only 18 x 8.5 they look more aggressive and have some more tire meat on them, ya gotta have some tire, its a Mustang not an import.

I was just never crazy about the Foose wheels but to each his own.

Those fan blades look like its Bizznes with the lower ride height
