Door lock pin install

Does anyone know how to remove the door lock pin on a 2010? I have a set of chrome door lock pins that I would like to install.

Don't they just screw off like any other door lock button?

That's what I thought, but it didn't seem to be working. I don't know it its because its too cold out, or if its something else but I figured I'd come on and ask the experts.

Tried unscrewing them again today with no luck...
