hey guys i was organizing all the pictures on my computer so i thought id make a progress thread. just getting the ball rolling though, much, much more to come.
bought the car around 3/2009, had about 120k. this is what it looked like.
the heater core went, this is the first of two times i had to change it.
i began to realize the motor mounts were shot, and the engine would actually jump up and hit the underside of the hood.
18x9, 18x10 black chrome saleens
installed eibach prokit
after the drop.
new rotors, d/s for looks.
long story short, a head threw a plug, ground electrode from the plug fell into the cylinder and cracked the piston and scored the wall. bought a factory re manufactured 98 cobra longblock.
removing the a/c compressor and related parts.
time to clean up the engine bay
ah, much better ( also didnt get pictures of it yet but the coilpacks match now, lol that was an experiment, and the battery is in the trunk now. still not done though, ill post more pics when its all done)
also picked up new black corners, and black depo projectors. i have a 6k hid kit from DDM as well)
and these are the latest pictures i took, earlier this afternoon.

after i have fun with the nitrous, then it will be time to really build it up.
not exactly sure what i want to do. id like to turbo it, at the same time im thinking kenne bell. id also like to have the heads ported, new cams, possibly a slight bore and forged internals, you know, the works. however it wont be anytime soon maybe a few yrs from now, theres no way i could afford it all just yet.
im always open for any tips, suggestions and or personal opinions!even if you dislike something! well thanks for reading guys!
