1990 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 with a 5-speed.

Picked it up from the second owner who kept it in Manhattan.

She has 88k documented miles and is very nearly stock.

Mods from stock are; 17x9 Cobra R's with "bobo" 245/40/17's, a monster tach that is not working correctly (wiring issue), and full exhaust from the 1-5/8" shorties, catless h-pipe, flow tubes, unknown mufflers with stock tails, and new clear headlights (need to be realigned right).

built Jan. 1990, she is a 25th Anniversary "X" code car...I will have many more pics once we have a decent day for a detail & photo shoot.

In my research, it seems the "X" in the Vin# means she came with the black trim AND had the red vinyl stripe in the recessed portion of the trim. As you can see its not on the car now, but we will have to fix that at some point.

From what I hear the "X" code is pretty rare. Not that a vinyl stripe is anything to hoot about, I just thinks its great to know.

Anyone else have any more info on the "X" code Fox Mustangs?

Thanks all, its been a few years now since I have had a steed to drive daily, I took the '91 off the road to race, and have had the "mule" ever since...it will be nice shifting gears again...
