Clutch Problems

So today my clutch pedal started feeling funny. The clutch was replaced about 1500 miles ago and was broken in properly. It was nice and smooth, today out of no where the pedal got very notchy feeling. It was unsmooth and clicky feeling. The gears still engauge fine and there is no grinding of gears. but the pedal feels terrible. When the car is off it goes back to feeling normal, once i start the car it feels notchy again. WTFF. please help thanks

if it reacts with the car being off or on,then that points to throw out bearing,but check pedal assembly itself,

the throwout bearing was replaced with the clutch =[

What clutch and throwout bearing is in there? Also do you have OEM clutch cable or aftermarket?

i had a throw out bearing go on a junk 300 and when it started the clutch pedal would vibrate and get a harsh vibration from that area,,if pedal linkage is movin freely and everythin else looks good thats where id go next,,,,,how many times did u dump the clutch?be honest,lol and who put the clutch in a shop? could have been a defective part

i have a king cobra clutch nd throwout bearing i forgot loll. it has the oem assembly. im thinkin it might be the cable. i dumped the clutch once and that was a a few weeks ago. I installed everything with a freind of mine who has a shop

if its cable clutch check the quadrant,,my cable hits the side and makes a couple tinking noises up an down,maby take your cable off the fork and move it by hand,maby feel excesive play,,do u have a bearing retainer

my clutch fork clips where worn causeing the tob to act the same way...idk just saying.

do urself a favor. Go to sk speed and get a new clutch cable and billet quadrant.. i got the ford racing one.. was like 100 i think... ez to install..

yeah I would say more than likely its your TOB. When i first changed mine I kept my stock cable on and everything and that TOB went pretty quickly. Get a aftermarket cable with adjustable quadrant. If it doesn't have enough play your TOB will always be running causing it to wear out A LOT quicker than usual.

Sounds like the cable is stretched.
