alright guys got some new parts on the way and can't wait to install them just ordered 4.10's for the ass end full BBk CAI and a pillar pod threw jegs with jdm xtune gauges. Vacuume, Digital Oil Pressure with bar, and a Water temp. The car is going into my garage this week and the work begins. I know a guy that is going to polish my intake and throttle body so the engine bay will look really nice come spring but 1 PROBLEM :nono: I gotta find a nice sounding dual exhaust for this thing.... What do you guys thing the best sound for your buck is.?

yah and you think the H pipe over the x? there is a Pypes full cat back with xpipe with cats and spots already for 02 sensors for 4 something i found but also saw a bunch of flowmasters but i herd that the force ii system is quiet so....

H or X doesnt matter- the Essex engine is even firing, so there is a negligable horsepower/torque difference between the styles (H,X,and divorced).

is there any specific brand or set up u would recommend for price sounds and installation like i said earlier i have the 4.10's that are going in and also the CAI and also will be getting a nice tune but want the exhaust on before everything is finalized

Hey I used bassani x pipe n muffler system n the stang sounds great well worth the bucks

depends what you want to pay.

First, avoid straight through designs (magnapack, SLP, bassanni straight-through). a chambered muffler sounds a lot better on these.

second, I would keep 2 cats on. perhaps go with a pair of high-flow ones, for legality, but also because these cars 'buzz' a bit at higher revs. I plan on adding them to mine when I can.

finally, what you want to pay. Bassanni chambered mufflers sound great, but cost a lot more then flow 40s, or MAC mufflers. for budget, the flows and an H will sound great. for a bit more, MAC or maybe magnaflow.


Just remember that these are an even-fire engine, vs the V8's odd-fire. That means they wont sound the same as a V8 anywhere off idle.
