Cherry Bombs on an 04 GT

Before you get the flamethrowers out... one of my stock mufflers is on the way out and I currently can't afford a catback.

So I want to throw in glasspacks as a stopgap until I can get the right stuff. I enjoyed the sound on my '97 Marquis with stock duals and H pipe. The exhaust on my car is totally stock. Has anyone done this on a Fox/SN95, if so, what are the dimensions of the muffler? I'm thinking if I go 14" then I won't need angled inlet/outlet- basically cut and paste.

If it sounds like $#!+, so be it, they only need to last a year or two so I can save enough to get a new catback.

how is a muffler going bad? you should be able to find a decent used catback for cheap.

The casing on the passenger-side muffler is almost rotted through in a couple of locations. It was a CT car originally so the underside needs some TLC.

I have a set of SLP loudmouth cat back im removing in the next week or two. One of the tail pipes is dented in above the reart axle so im going with a new set up. The car is too obnoxious for my sleeper! Ill sell the cat back for $100. You come pic up. Its has polished tips.

I agree, find used stock or even a pair of flowmaster/dynomax mufflers are 100 or less for
The pair. Especially since its a "1-2yr fix" that's a long time.

Mine's a daily driver, LM1's would probably be a bad idea. Cops around me aren't the friendliest ones you've ever met.

Have a line out on stock mufflers to weld in for a very fair price, at least then there's no guessing on muffler length, size of piping, etc- plug and play is ok with me.
