Changing the oil pan on my F-250 Diesel.

Well, most Ford truck owners will have to change a rotted oil pan at some point. Since my flexplate took a crap I figured I would have it all done at once. I don't have my garage up yet so its getting done at a shop in Buffalo.

Those oil pans go bad all the time. The truck is a 2001 with 90K on it. A Ford tech told me they sometimes have to replace them after a few years.

I had to replace the flexplate anyways. It's all done now and the shop did a great job. I should have waited because now we have a 1,800 sq/ft shop and we just put a lift in it. LOL
The bill for the truck was $2,600 and they replaced the power steering hoses too. Took 3 days but they did a great job.

$2,600, man that's tough. I'm keeping my v 10 undercoated, but I know it's just a matter of time.
Is that a Jag in the background?

It was worth it. That truck is the most awesome piece of equipment I've ever owned. Yeah that was a Jag. Really nice too but you couldn't give me enough of them to get rid of my truck LOL.

Still running great?? I think i may have some head work / head studs and ingectors in my near future... I was told you have to pull the WHOLE cab off the truck to pull the engine though... DAMN!!!

We pulled the headlight panel, radiator support and grille. Came out real nice. The 6.0 has a real common head gasket, injector and turbo failure problem which is very unfortunate. If my truck ever rots away the 7.3 is coming out and going in a newer truck lol.
