From what I have read get FRPP gears. Also that link was for a v6 I am not sure if that is different than yours?

yea I had Ford 4.10s before. That was the other thing, didnt know if this was specifially for V6, or what V6 could use for an upgrade. Wish they gave details of the diff...

i got the frpp install kit for like 90 something bucks and its way better than any aftermarket kit.

Motive makes or did make FRPP's gears. You would be fine with either brand, honestly.

After being down and out for a month, the Stang is back and running again. After getting the old diff out, we noticed that the gears were fine and that the only thing that was broke was the diff.
I still have concern though...the driveshaft hums a lil bit more now at higher speeds, and I am getting a rubbing/slight vibration sound/ feeling when turning right or driving straight and turning steering wheel slighlty to the right.
Should I be thinking that its break related or from the new diff?
Does the diff need a break in period? I have been driving like a lil beyotch since Saturday to let everything settle, made a 120mile drive from place of install home, with no issues at all.
She drives fine just with the small noises above. If this is something major I need to know and fix asap before another disaster. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

You have an issue! Take it to a reputable shop and get it figured out before something breaks again!

While the car was down I put new front break pads on. Maybe I screwed them up? Wheel bearing?
After the install we test drove it and there was no noise at all. I took it to a parking lot and did some fig 8s and no noises at all. IDK

It may be a hub bearing or it may be in the pinion or carrier bearings. You need someone there who can diagnose it right away.

Took it for another ride and its 100% coming from the rear and in the diff. Well now she sits again...

Man you just have NO luck! Good luck getting it figured out and I hope you get it running/drivable real soon. I would with out a doubt get it checked out because you could end up doing it all over again plus maybe gears if something is not right.

Are you sure you don't just have gear whine? My car whines with my gears and it has been fine for almost 40k miles.
