Well you have me beat. You broke your spider gears all to hell and snapped the pin just like I did, except I candy caned mine. You will most likely have to replace everything in there so I would definitely look into a complete setup.

Axles are 220+
Trak Loc is 250+
Bearings 130+

Then you have to look into labor. Putting in a new rear end could be done with a good set of sockets and a friend to help you maneuver it around.

Quick ? about diff cover/ girdle. Are the chrome ones junk? Ive seen a few out there for less than 30 duckets.

I cant say for sure but I would say yes. more for show. I know chrome oil pans a pretty much junk at least most of them!

Anytime bro, just here to help out. Here is one for you:

I just spent two weeks stripping an MG sprint down, replaced oil pan gasket, added power locks and some other mechanical crap that wasn't working. All ready to go off to paint today, and bam, the block cracks, Go figure, cost me nothing but my time, but still sucks ass.

Still trying to find the $$$ to pay for this. Being off of work right now doesnt help much at all. I am also waiting for a couple buddies to come diagnose the whole situation. Ive been trying to learn as much as I can about the rear end, lets not forget I am a auto mech NOOOBIE BOOBIE, well you knew that from that day at Adams lol.
Im hoping that I wont need to get axles, just carrier, new 410's, girdle, and installation kit. Once I find out what exactly I need to get and the parts get here, then I may need to see that sexy Sonic Blue GT here. Thanks again J !

Thanks Jay, see what you can find for FRRP 4.10's, Limited Slip Diff, and Girdle. I prefer new esp with the gears and diff.
