big problem help help

ok so i have a 92 gt supercharged and i was going to hook up some water temp gauges and i spliced into the coolant temp sensor wires and the 2 wires accidentally touched while the car was running and there were sparks all the lights came on the car reved up to like 3000 by itself and when i went in to give it a lil gas it shut down... when i tried to restart the car all it did was kept trying to turn over now all i get is a click... but then out of no where i turned the key and it started let it run for a lil but shut it down and when i turned the key just click no start no started engaging nothing.... what the fudge happened?

By you cranking the snot out of it you probably fried the starter. Have someone try to crank it while you gently tap on the starter. Also see if the starter gets hot. It should only get slightly warm. Then go to a GOOD auto parts store and buy yourself a starter.

ok so a few hours later the car starts and when i go to drive n put it in first it tries to cut out as im driving its ok but when i get to a light or stop sign it goes to stall and my check engine lights on now
