BBK long tubes don't fit an auto

Wish I would have known that before I ordered them and had the passanger side installed. Now I am the proud owner of a set of headers that not only can I not return but can't use. Sure would be nice if all the dealers that sell this crap would list these little details on there site or in there catalog. Passanger side works fine except for the O2 bung being in a bad place, but I can fix that. Driver side actualy hits the K frame more than anything and I don't see how that would have anything to do with it being an auto. I can see the O2 bung will have to be moved and once it clears the K frame but the flange on the end of the collector will mess with the trans pan and the linkage. All of that also screws me to use the X-pipe that you have to have for thoes headers. Sorry for the rant.

damn go figure,,my longtubes hit the kmember on the pass side,and hits the starter,and is like a mm from the steering shaft,they dont list anything about these things and it sucks,now i know why al the people i know just got shorties and an h pipe instead,,,longtubes suck

I don't have a choice. My wife is the one that will drive the car and she can't drive a 5 speed. This is nothing that can't be fixed with a tig welder, mig welder, chop saw, sawzall, 9"x16" band saw, plasma cutter, grinder and a 10 ton porta-power. I will make these fit.

Most sites Ive seen state clearly whether they fit an auto/manual trans. MAC mack L/T's for the 5.0 auto guys, I have a set of 1-3/4'' primaries on my AODE car.
