Sup All,
After i installed delete plates i was shocked at how much "oil blow by" build up there was, determined to keep my engine running clean i found a great deal on a Steeda oil separator (Catch Can). The unit was designed for 03/04 Cobras so the threading does not match the S197, ive been to Home Depot and 3 plumbing supply stores and no one can figure out a solutions, If i remeber correctly the S197 breather tube is 5/8" and the Steeda is 3/4" femal threaded.
The Catch can is just sitting in the trunk, any of you guys tackle this porblem yet? I saw on guy on another forum who spliced the catch can in the blow by system and it looked really neat as opposed to runing lines to the CIA where a can could be mounted and then back to the CAI arm. I PM'd the guy with this set up but he doesnt remember the sizes he used or where he purchased the fittings.
This link will give you an idea of what the CMCV's look like after only 14k miles.
