Alternator Help Please!!!

My 75 Amp Alternator Siezed so i went out and bought a PA Performance 130 Amp Alternator with the wiring kit along with a new battery. Well i hooked one side to the alternator and the other side to the culenoid. Some how im still having multiple voltage drops and i have the "Amp" light displayed on the dash. Did i hook it up right? How do you prevent major voltage drops?

Sounds like there is a short or something is pulling juice.

You could wire a multimeter in series with the ground of the battery ( take off negative battery cable and put one lead to the post and the other to the removed terminal). With the car off, start pulling fuses till the voltage drops. Set the meter to dc voltage @20v.
