(jugging by the thickness of the coil) I think that spring is too stiff. It looks like a 12psi spring. Do you know how much vacuum the car makes at idle??
You choose BOV spring based on how much vacuum the car pulls at idle, (at operating temperature)

the vac at idle is 20 according to my gauge

I was just thinking it sounds dangerous & he will end up blowing it up making those changes w/o it being tuned for it. Sounds like some giving advice that may cause him big probs.

I wasnt trying to be rude or name calling. So f u both for your attitudes, :awesomework:

im not driving the car how would i blow it up?

im done with everything and will go get it tuned im just wondering why the bov is not working properly ....im sorry for calling you a douche

Actually , yes I need a BIG hug. Had to buy a new work van this week which I really dont have the $$$ for. Other BS also going on. So I WILL take the hug. Preferably from one of the females. :awesomework:


I pictured you driving the car & then hearing a funny noise followed by u posting pictures of oil on the ground. :nono: Its easy to give advice when you dont have to pay for the "oops".

the oil on the ground has nothing to do with me car

car is not getting driven without a tune relax

it's not working right. it should open when you rev it and release the throttle. you need a new spring or you can try cutting the one you have and see if it helps before spending money on a new one.

can you push the valve open using your fingers? two coils should have been enough , but that spring does look big. it almost looks like a wastegate spring you can try cutting it a little more (you got nothing to lose at this point) or if you have access to a torch you can try heating the spring up to soften it.
