air bag control box?

Hey, I had just replaced the heater core in fox my about 2 weeks ago and since then ive been listing to this anoying beeping sound under the dash. I took it apart today and found that this box was making all of the racket.

my question is that if it was a control box for the airbag system of somthing else.


btw i disconected the box and the sound stop, and the stang runs.

Mine makes that annoying beep(sort of like a back up alarm now and then. I never bothered to look take it off though, It usually is only on for about 15-20 seconds.:idk:

mine did when this video was takin about a year ago then stop. when i took the dash apart, it started back up. fml haha

Thats the airbag control module. Does your airbag lightbulb in the dash work? Could be something as simple as that or another problem within the system. Most people just pull the module out.
