.....when I turn the key I get nothing, not even a click, battery is good, even tried with booster cables, had the starter tested and it worked on the machine, replaced the ignition switch. Any suggestions?
your secondary starter solenoid. Might be on the firewall of your car. Follow the positive battery wire to find it. I work on old cars so this may not be it but if you do find it you can bypass the solinoid with a screwdriver or remote starter switch to check it.
if for some reason you don't have one I would check your starter relay. Each relay has a number on it. Match it up with another relay with the same number and switch them to see if solves the problem would be the next step.
the relay was my next task, I didn't know there was a secondary solenoid, I checked the chilton website and they do show one one the firewall. thanks again for the help.
