Looks legit but ehh dont want to spend 1500 on a stroker kit anyone know someone who used one of these or anyone know a decent 408 stroker kit for 800 bucks.?????

All forged, AND Quility parts, $800 is tough!
Forged probe crank, forged rods, forged probe flat top pistons, rings, bearings = $1600 ballpark. Cast will be cheaper, but what HP levels are you looking for?

you might be able to get a cheap rotator with a cast crank from summit for under a g, id stay away from the ebay noname shit.. its cheap for a reason. if you want a cheap bottom end throw a set of .030 pistons and a good set of rods in your motor and spend the rest on a good top end

You' ll spend more on balancing and machining in the long run on those chinese low $$$ kits. Probe cast kits are the most inexpensive in most cases. I'd only buy probe or scat, some eagle kits myself. Cast with I beams will hold up to a real 500HP no problem, but if your shooting for only 500HP, better off building a 347 IMO.

500, crank HP , with a 347 is do-able. It's also lighter then the 351 based motor. 347 Cast crank kit ~$1000 ,unbalanced. Head choice is going to be big factor though. The 408 cast crank kit is ~$1250, again, unbalanced.
What are your thoughts on the top end? Heads, etc...

if im building the engine my scat kits go for around 950$ to 1500$ depending on what you need. honestly, if you want a 500 hp motor then you need to either tell your builder or find a good builder and tell him how much power you want and what your budget is. picking parts yourself while its fun almost always ends badly, a good builder knows what to use for as little as possible, it doesnt take as much as everyone thinks to get 500 hp.

im building the motor. its not my first build its my first time stroking a motor so im still reasearching on which setup to run. im dead set on a 408. i have a 351w block ready to go. afr 205s i want compression to be 10;1 with flat top pistons im going to need a big chamber to keep the compression to were i want it.64cc i could get a set of afr 185s but im affraid of the the motor not being able to breath with them. and cam i will be calling cranecams for when i have the stroker kit and heads. its a efi set up

+.030 flat tops with 4cc valve reliefs and 64cc chambers comes up around 11.7:1, 68cc chambers are about 11.1:1

Why only 10:1

i found the kit i want to run prob industry street fighter 408 stroker kit. i have also been looking at the compams xfi cam series designed specificly for ford stroker applications.
