Why would anybody be pissed? I spent last weekend in Carlise in the rain not tons of fun but weather never got extreme. I'm glad they postponed just got done fixing 2 grand of hail damage on the mustang not up for that again. Storms this year have been insane.

hey it is what it is, JUST not that easy to re-arrange vacation days/ baby sitter, hotel that wont give me money back, and time off work...Just venting..guess im the ONLY emotional one..and yes, Ive sat in the rain/ thunderstorms in reinback NY, sucked, but did it..

Sucks that its postponed but id much rather go next week when the weather is nice than not go at all or go when its raining.

well im here at some hotel,
got my email while i was halfway here,
i was and still am pissed,
but AM is opening up the warehouse for tours at 1pm tomorrow, and giving you a refund, plus your shirt and stuff, as well as " Heavy discounts" on everything they sell
so im gonna go check that out, but i spent ,gas for 2 cars, hotel, tolls, and dog kennel ,and took off work, and i end up not even getting to go to the show

Sorry some people lost out on show being postponed I know its never easy when you are in charge of these events to make a decision like they did. Ive been there and had to do it more times than I care to think about. I know American Muscle will do what ever they can to make it up to you, their customer service goes above and beyond most companies. Rain is one thing but extreme storms are another, been at the street rod national where a storm rolled in and next thing you know 70 grand rods are in two feet of water on the fair grounds. Like i said earlier 2 grand of damage on my stang when that hail storm rolled through orange county in June. Last time I was out with it just missed the tornado that rolled through Goshen Saw the black clouds coming and ran for home. Ended up plowing water with front spoiler on way home, and that was on a forecast of thunderstorms not coming until evening they showed up 4 hrs early. I think it was nice of AM to phone everyone that was signed up to go.

Was that your blue stang at the quality inn. I was there and understand frustration. Wish I had capabilities to know about the tour. I left sunday morn and arrived back home at 2:30. And I didnt get a call or text . found email today.
Your not the only one emotional. I understand completely why they cancelled but was assured it would go on and the big banner "RAIN or Shine" got me to go. guesss i've wasted $200.00 on worse things than 10 hrs driving in my car.

I myself am a little upset, but fortunately I was able to get the news early enough. I posted as soon as I found out.
sorry for those that made the drive down for no reason. Gonna go to the big wigs at the show to see what can be done to ease your pain a bit. It did say rain or shine, bit I guess it was too much to have a million+ $ sitting in a wet swamp.

That was me with the blue stang, I left early to spend the day in philly (I wont do that again) not to nice. then when I didnt see any cars at the hotel my son checked his phone and we found out the show was canceled. I missed the phone call and email by about 45 min.. I might try again next week if the weather looks good.
Let's not say the "R" word.. LOL

Looks like im out. Last week my intake manifold cracked so I ordered a Pro Products Typhoon intake and had the ford dealer put it on. Ever since I had lean codes coming up . Went back to ford yesterday and its the new intake leaking air. Im sending it back to American Muscle and they will refund my money But Pro Products Will Not pay for the labor to have a new one put on . So I wont have my car back till next week.
