3G Alternator upgrade

Ok who's done it and lives close enough that they could help me with it, if i fuck it up? i see all these write ups, i mean cutting the actual housing, running an a new power wire, I am sure i could fuck this up some how.

Did you buy it already? If not you might want to look into the 6G like I have. It's the stock 3.8 V6 alternator from a 99-04 Stang and it is smaller case wise so no grinding on the brackets. A guy on corral sells a nice conversion kit with everything needed. I'll post a link when I get home...or google 6G alternator install

They make 110 and 130 amp OEM. I can't remember which one I have, I will have to look. I figured either way it was an upgrade lol.

I have read they run cooler and have better bearings for longevity. Basically its a newer/better design over the 3G (so they say).

This is the guy I got my install kit from for my 6G he sells a small case 3G as well thats another option!
