I'm guessing that the synchros are bad. Pulling hard from 1st and shifting into 2nd it will grind, easy shifting it will go in fine. Sometimes it will just grind for a milli second but will go in, other times it won't go in at all and have to shift in neutral unclutch and clutch back into 2nd.. (any chance someone knows how much a fair price for a rear main seal to be replaced is also lol?/trans meets block)
