I believe this is the reason why the new style Mustangs have not been selling well. When the 2010 came out everyone knew the 2011 would have the 5.0L. Then you have the people who never want to own the first of the new engines due to "bugs". Now you have people who might want to wait and see what the 2013 is going to look like before they decide to purchase one. The Mustang is a way better car then the Camaro and it should be selling better!

and of course, those who will wait at least two season before buying the new generation. there are always new bulletins coming out on the cars with updates to fix. the new car will not be like this one. there of course is the purchaser who wants that last year of production.possible higher re sale later.depending on the model. mine was the last year of the 4.6l JAY is right MUSTANG sales should be higher than they are. Camaro does not cut it. ZL1 high price range, to purchase
