The Mustang won the 2009 Koni Challenge Championship with Dean Martin and Ken Wilden at the wheel and is currently competing in the Grand-Am GS class in the Continental Tire Sportscar Challenge Series. Unlike a turn-key FR500C that you would buy from Ford Racing, Rehagen Racing built the car from a Mustang body-in-white to FR500C specifications. Its been raced for just over one season and beat the best from Porsche, BMW and Chevrolet. The car scored two wins in 2009 and the average finish for the car was 4th place. In the most recent race at the Homestead-Miami Speedway in March the car finished 4th in the GS class
The car comes well sorted with a one race old Roush/Yates built 5.0-Liter engine and Tremec T-56 transmission.
