anyone have insight for a decent replacement and good price

Ok some questions. Does it make noise, or complete silence.

Did you check the fluid??

We were putting up the top , prior to having the car towed to the shop...when it quit

No noise at all

didn't have time to look as the flatbed tow truck was in transit to our house

not sure how the shop went about checking ( friends of my son)...I just got the news that the top motor was toast
