Hey everyone. I was at an auto show at the meadowlands in new york this past weekend that i was invited to by my mechanic. It was a lot of fun, and i had the chance to pick up some new rims for my 1966 mustang. The style wheel i was looking for was a more modern looking rim, that would suit a car such as mine. As the salesmen recommended, i ended up with shelby replicas, 17x8s in the front and 17x9s +24 offset in the rear.
I was talking with my mechanic yesterday, and was wondering what kind of tires i can safely run here without worrying about rubbing. The salesmen said i could run 275/245, but he wouldn't exactly recommend it. He said a 265/235 would be perfect and i was just wondering if you guys think this would be suitable?
Thanks in advance
