As far as headers, you prolly want to get sumn 304 Stainless, most everything else will rust in a year or two, its such a paint to get them in that its best to go with a good set so you dont have any fitment problems or issues down the road. I havnt done it yet cuz im waiting to do the blower first, but Kooks / American Racing (made in LI!) and JBA seem to be the highest quality and they come in 304 stainless. Expect to shell out about $1500 without the labor.
With blower, you dont want to get to steep a gear cuz youll have NO traction, unless you drag race and run slicks. On the street, when 1st hear is a 3 second pinch EVERY time it will get annoying.
These S197 cars are notoriuos for wheel hop, ya gotta ge the LCA's/UCA. While your at you may as well get the UCA mount, the stocker is really flimsy and your making power so...
Dyno tune is a great idea, especially a blown car. Im NA and i got a Dyno tune for cams, the car runs so much better, the email tunes tend to be very rich (safe) and do not maximize your mods.
Delete plates may not give you huge power but it will make your engine breather better and its cheap but you need to get a retune for them..
