For launching, so you don't have to try and keep a steady RPM.

YA Man what he said, it's kinda like another rev limiter but different.
It works off of your speed sensor and knows if your moving or not, when your not moving you can put it to the floor and the motor will hold at your preset value. Since it's cutting in and out it puts load on the motor and if you’re running a turbo or s/c it will build boost. Thats why your hearing that Supercharger Screaming in the Vid.

In most logical cases there would be no reason to use it on a Supercharged Vehicle since we build boost INSTANTLY. But I have to admit it would fun as chit launching at like 25lbs of Boost to see what all our T and TT Brothers & Sisters get to experience
