If the engine shut off because it filled with water,there is a high probability that you bent a rod,but before you assume the worst pull the plugs out spin the motor by hand(wrench on the front crank bolt).You might be able to see if your insurance would cover it.

Sounds like you hydro looked her,pull the plugs out and try and turn it over by hand,but it doesn't sound promising sorry to say
